Ciao! I’m Priscilla,I’m 22 years old from Italy and I’m one of the volunteers of Tupendane Africa Foundation. I've always wanted to be part of a volunteer project in Africa, but I was unsure on what to expect and insecure about my capabilities, however from the first day I set foot in Tupendane my heart was filled with joy and reassurance from the warm welcoming of the directors, to the powerful women and all the lovely kids
They will always have a special place in my heart, and I will never forget this experience.
Hi, my name is Niamh and I am 20 years old. I came to Tupendane for a month to help the women learn valuable life skills and feel more confident. I’ve had the most amazing time getting to know the women here and have felt so inspired by them. They all have such positive attitudes towards learning and come in with smiles on their faces every morning. I’m so grateful to have had this experience and I hope to come back to see them all!
Hi, everyone! My name is Diana. Some time ago, I heard that when a woman is empowered, an entire family is truly empowered. That's why I chose this Women's Education program, as I felt it could have a greater impact. The experience has been wonderful, also very challenging, but meeting the women in Tupendane and receiving their affection has made it all worthwhile. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Hi! My name is Tabitha, I am 22 years old and I am from Scotland in the UK. I have been volunteering at Tupendane for 3 weeks and sadly only have 1 more week to go. I have absolutely loved my time here so far. It has been such a joy to meet the other staff and volunteers here, we are so lucky to have such a great team! I have learnt so much from all of the women at the foundation, they are so full of joy and enthusiasm and it has been a genuine privilege to meet them and spend each day talking and learning with them. I already can't wait to come and visit in the future!
